Your Impact as Nursing Director:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the OR nursing department, aligning with the hospital’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective unit operations, managing staffing, scheduling, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain a culture of safety and quality, implementing evidence-based practices and monitoring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Experienced Nurses:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in nursing management in a hospital setting, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated leadership ability and a proven track record of success in achieving clinical and operational goals.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Current Arizona Registered Nurse License and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or a similar high-acuity setting.
  • WOCN (Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing) certification.
  • Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider.

Schedule:

  • Full Time: 40 hours per week.
  • Shift: Day Shift
