Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Audiologist to take on a unique and autonomous role at a high-performing medical facility in Great Barrington, MA. With the current Audiologist retiring, this is a rare opportunity to become the sole Audiology provider within a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering world-class hearing health services in a patient-centric environment.
This full-time Audiologist position is ideal for an independent, compassionate clinician who is confident in managing the complete scope of audiological care. You will be responsible for diagnostic assessments, hearing aid fittings and programming, patient education, and the documentation of all clinical services in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations and interpret diagnostic results
Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices
Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and their families
Administer balance testing and assess vestibular disorders when appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient charts
Ensure all services adhere to professional and departmental standards
Operate independently as the facility's sole audiologist
Required:
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D) from an accredited institution
Massachusetts Audiologist License (MAAUDIO) – required upon hire
CPR and National Certification (ASHA CCC-A or ABA Certification) if holding a Master's degree
Preferred:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical audiology experience
Familiarity with various brands and platforms of hearing aids
Confidence in working as a sole provider in a busy outpatient setting
Experience with EMR systems and audiology software
Pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, OAE, and speech audiometry
Hearing aid selection, fitting, verification, and counseling
Diagnostic and rehabilitative services for vestibular disorders
Hearing conservation education and custom protection fittings
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Setting: Outpatient clinic environment
Population: Diverse patients of all age groups with hearing and balance disorders
Reporting: Collaborates with physicians, ENT specialists, and support staff
