Pleasanton, CA-based InkSpace Imaging has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its new 1.5 tesla 24-channel MRI coil.
The 1.5-tesla MRI coil leverages InkSpace’s proprietary technology and is part of Siemens Healthineers’ suite of coils for the company’s Magnetom MRI scanners. The new coil includes high-density coil elements that improve signal-to-noise ratio, a lightweight and flexible design that improves patient comfort, and advanced parallel imaging compatibility that accelerates scan times, the company said.
The 1.5-tesla MRI coil is available for order, InkSpace said.
