Job Description:
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a leading Level I trauma center in Philadelphia, PA, in the search for a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist - Imaging Specialist (CT/MRI). This prestigious role is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training in pediatric and adult congenital cross-sectional imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret pediatric and adult congenital cardiac imaging studies, including but not limited to CT angiography (Cardiac CTA) and cardiac MRI.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions.
- Utilize the state-of-the-art pediatric cardiac catheterization/electrophysiology laboratory, which includes biplane fluoroscopy and 3D electroanatomic mapping capabilities.
- Lead and participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs within the pediatric cardiology division.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Advanced training in pediatric/adult congenital cross-sectional imaging is required.
- Strong preference for candidates with RCES or RDCS credentials, particularly those with a pediatric specialty (PE) or fetal specialty (FE).
- Expertise in performing and interpreting Cardiac CTA exams using the Cannon/Toshiba Aquillon 80-slice CT unit and cardiac MRI using the Client 450W 1.5T MRI unit, including cardiac morphology and flow mapping procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-volume environment with a varied work schedule.
