Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab

Location: Anchorage, AK

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our partner medical center's Cath Lab in Anchorage, AK. This full-time, day shift position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiovascular conditions.

Hours:

• Full Time (40 hours a week)
• Day Shift

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
• Prepare and operate specialized equipment, such as catheters, guidewires, and imaging systems.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic parameters during procedures.
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures and patient care.
• Adhere to strict sterile technique and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 3 years of direct work experience in Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Certifications:
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Radiological procedures.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist.
