Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our partner, a leading medical center in Lansing, MI. This is a unique opportunity to change the lives of children and their families by providing expert behavioral support. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans, behavioral support plans, and strategies that are tailored to each client's unique needs.

  • Develop new programs and perform ongoing adjustments to current programs as needed to ensure the highest level of care.

  • Collaborate closely with the treatment team, including directors, parents, and other support networks, to review case progress and ensure a unified approach.

  • Provide comprehensive training, supervision, and support to clinicians and therapists on all policies and procedures.

  • Communicate with funding sources regarding client progress, reports, meetings, and authorizations.

  • Maintain a caseload of billable hours while effectively managing supervisory duties.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required. A Master's degree with completed ABA coursework is also a core qualification.

  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT) is essential.

  • Must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; fluency in a foreign language is a plus and may lead to increased base pay.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable, insured form of transportation.

  • The ability to communicate routinely with team members regarding schedules and clients' changing needs is critical.
