Virtus Healthcare Staffing is supporting the recruitment efforts for an open Nursing Manager – Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) position at a leading acute care hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time leadership role offers a competitive base salary of $101,500 to $134,488 and the opportunity to lead a high-performing IMC nursing team.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required

  • Licensure & Certification:

    • Active RN license in Nevada (or ability to obtain prior to start)

    • Current BCLS certification

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience

    • 1–2 years of progressive management experience in an acute care or critical care environment

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to guide a team in delivering high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour operational management of the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) ensuring adherence to the highest standards of nursing practice

  • Lead and mentor nursing staff to promote professional growth, engagement, and excellence in patient care

  • Oversee staffing, budget, and resource allocation for the IMC unit to ensure optimal performance and patient outcomes

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies across all aspects of IMC operations
