As an Associate Radiology Technologist, you will work under the supervision of experienced Radiologists and the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor to perform various imaging procedures. You will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures under direct supervision.
• Assist registered technologists with more complex procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment to obtain optimal images.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with clerical duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Oregon Temporary Limited X-Ray Machine Operator Permit from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging upon hire.
• Certification: BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to patient care.
