Virtus Healthcare Staffing is engaged in a search for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on behalf of our partner, a well-established Pediatric Therapy Center located in Lansing, MI. This is a full-time position offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities.
Make a Difference in a Child's Life
As a BCBA at this Pediatric Therapy Center, you will provide direct behavior analysis services to children and their families in a supportive and caring environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized behavior intervention plans, utilizing your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, and provide direct ABA services to children with developmental disabilities.
- Supervise and train Behavior Technicians in the implementation of ABA programs, including DTT.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote skill generalization in the home and community.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and updates regarding client progress.
- Participate in clinical team meetings to discuss client cases and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
- Engage in leadership and management functions when required.
Qualifications:
- Education/Certification:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master's degree with completion of ABA coursework may be considered.
- Experience: Knowledge of ABA and Discrete Trial Training (DTT).
- Skills:
- Valid driver's license and reliable form of insured transportation.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Aptitude for higher-level management functions when necessary.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual/Multilingual: Candidates with fluency in a foreign language are highly encouraged to apply and may be eligible for increased base pay.
- QBHP Certification: (Qualified Behavioral Health Professional)
