Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated and skilled Breast Radiologist to join our partner, a leading medical center in Hattiesburg, MS. As a Breast Radiologist, you will have the option to focus exclusively on breast imaging, providing full-scope services in a state-of-the-art facility. Your expertise will be vital in performing screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, as well as minimally invasive biopsies with same-day diagnostics. You will work as part of a collaborative team that includes breast surgeons, oncologists, reconstructive surgeons, and women's health specialists.
Perform and interpret a wide range of breast imaging procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI.
Conduct minimally invasive biopsies and other diagnostic procedures.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Contribute to community engagement through breast cancer awareness outreach and support of local funds.
Required:
ABR or AOBR board certification is required.
Fellowship training in breast imaging is required.
A Mississippi medical license is required or must be eligible to obtain one.
Preferred:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in breast imaging is preferred.
