Overview:
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is engaged in a search for a skilled Cardiac MRI Technologist on behalf of our partner, a leading Level III Trauma Center in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment, with a focus on cardiovascular imaging. The position offers an evening schedule and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Position Summary:
The Cardiac MRI Technologist will perform advanced MRI procedures, specializing in cardiovascular imaging, and deliver high-quality patient care in alignment with facility protocols. Candidates must possess at least three years of MRI experience, with a minimum of one year in cardiovascular imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced cardiac MRI imaging studies with precision and care.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to ensure high diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment according to established guidelines.
• Accurately document and report findings.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of MRI experience with at least 1 year in cardiovascular imaging.

Licenses and Certifications (one or more of the following):

• RDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
• RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)
• CCI – Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Certified
• CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) – If certified through NMTCB or ARRT, registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) is required
• ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – If certified through ARRT, registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) is required
• ARRT-MR – Radiologic Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT)
• ARMRIT – Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
• CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (State Licensure)
• BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA) – Can be obtained during the negotiation process
