Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our partner, a leading healthcare provider in Mission Viejo, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic pediatric Level II Trauma Center that offers a comprehensive range of services, including cardiovascular care, neuroscience and spine services, orthopedics, cancer care, women's services, mental health and wellness programs, and other specialized care.

Provide Expert CT Imaging in a Leading Trauma Center

The CT Technologist will produce high-quality and timely CT procedures, providing exceptional patient care to infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Position Summary:

The CT Technologist will produce high-quality and timely CT procedures while providing exceptional patient care to infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. This role requires a strong understanding of CT technology, imaging protocols, and patient safety. The technologist will work under minimal supervision and will be responsible for post-processing images and demonstrating knowledge of anatomy to assist physicians in diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT examinations according to physician orders.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during procedures.
• Operate CT equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Process and reconstruct images using specialized software.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Adhere to all safety and radiation protection protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography upon hire.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualification:

• Prior CT experience.
