Responsibilities:
- Microscopic Examination: Perform meticulous microscopic examinations of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, including fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies.
- Interpretation and Reporting:
- Provide final interpretations of normal gynecological specimens.
- Deliver initial interpretations of non-gynecological, FNA, and abnormal gynecological specimens following standardized procedures.
- Specimen Collection and Preparation: Assist in the collection and preparation of FNA and biopsy specimens for immediate evaluation, demonstrating a thorough understanding of method principles.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality control and quality assurance activities, evaluating results based on patient demographics and history.
- Independent Work and Time Management: Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet established deadlines, ensuring the accuracy and validity of all data obtained.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) eligibility.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
