Position Overview:

As an Echo Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing echocardiograms on a diverse patient population, including adult, pediatric, and congenital cases. You will utilize cutting-edge equipment, including Philips IE33 and Epiq CVx, to capture high-quality images and analyze results for accurate and timely diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms on adult, pediatric, and congenital patients.
• Analyze and interpret echocardiogram results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any questions.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation within the Epic EMR system.
• Utilize Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular PACS for efficient image management.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in the on-call rotation with minimal call-back rates.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.
• BLS certification.
