Family Medicine Physician – BE/BC

Location: Geneva, NY Facility: 105-Bed Medical Facility Affiliate Setting: Outpatient Primary Care

Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our partner, a medical practice affiliated with a 105-bed facility located in Geneva, NY, in the scenic Finger Lakes region. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages within a supportive practice environment.

Role Summary:

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide high-quality, compassionate primary care services to a diverse patient panel. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, focus on preventive medicine, manage chronic diseases, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients across the lifespan (infants, children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics).
• Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and formulate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Perform routine office procedures within the scope of Family Medicine.
• Emphasize preventive care, including screenings, counseling, and immunizations.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare team members for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the electronic health record system.
• Participate in practice-based quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution (Required).
• Training: Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program (Required).
