Family Medicine-Primary Care Physician – BE/BC

Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our partner, a respected multi-specialty group practice located in Seneca Falls, NY, within the scenic Finger Lakes region. Role Summary:

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based primary care services to a diverse patient panel, from infants to geriatrics. Your focus will be on diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, promoting preventive health, managing chronic diseases, and coordinating care within a multi-specialty environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients across the lifespan.
• Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and formulate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases common in family medicine.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on appropriate diagnostic tests and labs.
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
• Emphasize preventive care, including screenings, counseling, and immunizations.
• Collaborate effectively with specialists and other healthcare providers within the group and community for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the electronic health record system.
• Participate in practice-based quality improvement activities and adhere to clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution (Required).
• Training: Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program (Required).
• Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Family Medicine (Required).
• License: Eligible for or possess an active, unrestricted New York State medical license and DEA registration (Required).
