Position Overview:

You will be an integral part of a collaborative team, diagnosing and treating patients with digestive and gastrointestinal disorders. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Consultations: Consult with patients to understand their medical histories and current health concerns related to the digestive system.
• Diagnosis: Perform specialized tests and procedures, such as endoscopies and colonoscopies, to diagnose gastrointestinal conditions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, dietary modifications, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaboration: Consult with patients’ primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Data Analysis: Review and analyze patient historical data to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Procedures: Perform endoscopic procedures of the digestive tract at the ambulatory surgery center and hospital.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Board Certified-Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
