Radiologic Technologist – R.T.(R)(ARRT)

Level II Pediatric Trauma Center | Full-Time, Day | Boise, ID

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join a leading 437-bed acute care facility in Boise, Idaho, established in 1902. This full-time, day shift position offers flexible scheduling options with varying shifts available. As the only pediatric hospital in the state, this Level II Pediatric Trauma Center provides a unique and rewarding work environment.

Position Overview:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing a variety of radiographic procedures in various settings, including the Emergency Department, inpatient and outpatient areas, fluoroscopy, operating room, and endoscopy. You will utilize a range of equipment, including C-Arm, O-Arm, portables, and fluoroscopy/stationary units. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic principles, patient positioning, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various radiographic procedures in different settings.
• Utilize a range of imaging equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in the on-call rotation with minimal call-back rates.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS Provider certification.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
