Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a collaborative and motivated Interventional Radiologist to join the highly skilled team at a leading Level I Trauma Center in West Reading, PA. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a high-volume, cutting-edge environment with a complete support staff and a dedicated 12-bed recovery unit for Interventional Radiology.

Make a Difference with Image-Guided Therapies

As an Interventional Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in utilizing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with oncologists, surgeons, and vascular specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad spectrum of interventional radiology procedures, including:
  • Interventional Oncology: Tumor ablations, chemoembolization, radioembolization.
  • Vascular Interventions: Peripheral arterial disease treatments, DVT thrombectomy, venous access.
  • Image-Guided Procedures: Biopsies, drain placements, pain management.
  • Endovascular Therapy: Embolization for trauma, GI bleeding, and more.
  • Spine and Musculoskeletal Interventions: Kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, nerve blocks.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Participate in teaching and mentorship opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship/residency.
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
