As the TCT Lead RN, you will coordinate and lead apheresis treatments for oncology and hematology patients, serving as a clinical expert and mentor in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated TCT Lead RN – Apheresis Oncology to join a collaborative and compassionate team at a regional medical center in Gainesville, FL. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced nurse who thrives in a fast-paced oncology and hematology environment, with a strong emphasis on apheresis care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate apheresis treatments for oncology and hematology patients.
• Serve as a clinical expert, resource, and mentor for the nursing team, ensuring evidence-based practices are followed.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, oncologists, and hematology specialists, to deliver patient-centered care.
• Oversee patient assessments, treatment planning, and evaluations, with a focus on safety, quality, and comfort.
• Monitor, calibrate, and maintain apheresis equipment to ensure operational excellence.
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives within the TCT and oncology units.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Florida RN License or eligibility to obtain before hire.

Experience:

• 3 years of recent acute care RN experience in hematology-oncology and/or apheresis populations is required (within the last year).
• Apheresis experience is mandatory.

Certifications:

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – Preferred.
• Apheresis Specialist Certification – Highly desirable.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required.
