Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified MRI Supervisor for our esteemed partner, a Level I Trauma Center located in Berlin, VT. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team and oversee the operations of a busy MRI department within a leading medical facility.
Lead and Manage MRI Services
As MRI Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring high-quality imaging services and patient care. You will supervise and mentor a team of MRI technologists, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures, and maintaining optimal department efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the MRI department.
- Ensure adherence to protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient safety.
- Schedule and coordinate MRI procedures, optimizing department efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to MRI technologists and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development to staff.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including participation in ACR accreditation.
- Maintain inventory of MRI supplies and equipment.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
- ARRT (MR) certification is required.
- Advanced certification in MRI.
- Minimum of three years of experience in MRI.
- At least two years of experience as a lead technologist or supervisor in an MRI setting.
- Active MRSO certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
