Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified MRI Supervisor for our esteemed partner, a Level I Trauma Center located in Berlin, VT. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team and oversee the operations of a busy MRI department within a leading medical facility.

Lead and Manage MRI Services

As MRI Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring high-quality imaging services and patient care. You will supervise and mentor a team of MRI technologists, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures, and maintaining optimal department efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the MRI department.
• Ensure adherence to protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient safety.
• Schedule and coordinate MRI procedures, optimizing department efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to MRI technologists and support staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development to staff.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including participation in ACR accreditation.
• Maintain inventory of MRI supplies and equipment.
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
• ARRT (MR) certification is required.
• Advanced certification in MRI.
• Minimum of three years of experience in MRI.
• At least two years of experience as a lead technologist or supervisor in an MRI setting.
• Active MRSO certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
