Job Description: Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a talented Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a reputable general acute medical center located in Geneva, NY. Our partner facility is committed to providing high-quality care to patients and is actively seeking a dedicated physician to join their team.

Position Overview:

This non-invasive cardiologist position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the health and well-being of patients. You will primarily focus on outpatient and inpatient care, conducting 3-5 hospital consultations per day and performing procedures such as echocardiograms, nuclear medicine studies, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and cardioversions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various cardiac conditions.
• Perform non-invasive cardiac procedures, such as echocardiograms, nuclear medicine studies, TEEs, and cardioversions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in on-call and rounding duties at our sister facility.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in cardiology.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board-eligible or Board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Current PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule:

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 4.5 days per week.
• 1 in 9 on-call rotation with a call radius of 30 miles.
