Position Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a full range of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring the safe and effective use of radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, committed to patient safety, and capable of working closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists across multiple departments.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures.

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and ensure accurate image acquisition.

• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any urgent needs.

• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes.

• Document all patient interactions and imaging results in accordance with hospital policies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.

• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) OR National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N).

• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (upon hire).

• BLS certification – American Heart Association (upon hire).

• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, procedures, and safety protocols.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
