Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our partner, a 107-bed acute care facility in Brawley, CA. This full-time, day shift position offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise to a Level III Trauma Center.

Provide Essential Nuclear Medicine Imaging Services

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals to aid in patient diagnosis and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine to complex nuclear medicine procedures.
• Conduct radionuclide imaging of organs, organ systems, compartments, physiologic functions, assays of body fluids, tissues, and radio bioassays.
• Demonstrate and apply knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging principles and radiation safety practices.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures.
• Follow protocols specified by the radiologist.
• Educate patients, collect patient histories, and communicate information to the radiologist.
• Enter complex data into computer systems.
• Review, verify, and evaluate images.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education and Certification:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification.
  • California Department of Public Health NMT license.
• Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment and software.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Must be COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted (if eligible).

Shift Details:

• Full-Time, Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
