Nuclear Medicine Technologist – R.T.(R)(N)(ARRT)

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our partner medical center, a Level I Trauma Center, in Burlington, VT. This role offers the opportunity to perform clinical and research-based nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Deliver Expert Nuclear Medicine Services
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will conduct a variety of nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures, including general and cardiac studies. You will operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and provide clinical instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical and research-based nuclear medicine procedures.
- Perform general and cardiac studies.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Process and analyze imaging data.
- Provide clinical instruction and mentorship.
- Contribute to departmental policies and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.
- Licensure: Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont.
- Experience: Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred, but new graduates and those new to the field are welcome to apply.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- No weekends except for call coverage.
- Call every 12 days, 24 hours on weekends, 14 hours on weeknights (5 PM – 7 AM).
- Call pay, overtime, and shift differentials are provided when called in.
Benefits:

- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 – $15,000 (depending on experience) for eligible external candidates hired full-time.
- Relocation assistance up to $9,200 for eligible full-time candidates moving from a distance greater than 50 miles.
