Lead the Way in Critical Care

As Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the Critical Care Med/Surg Telemetry unit. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure compliance with standards of care, and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Manage staffing levels and resources.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and professional development.
• Clinical Practice:
  • Ensure the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice.
  • Monitor patient care and outcomes.
  • Promote a patient-centered approach to care.
• Quality and Performance Improvement:
  • Engage in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data and implement strategies to enhance patient safety.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Staff Development:
  • Foster the professional growth and development of nursing staff.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to nurses.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.
• Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with the Director, CNO, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a compact state.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a critical care or med/surg telemetry setting.
