Position Overview

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our partner's skilled nursing facility in Willows, CA. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a clinician passionate about helping patients regain independence in daily living through personalized therapy and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate functional abilities and develop individualized care plans

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to support ADL and mobility goals

• Provide training and education to patients and caregivers for at-home care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient-centered treatment

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment progress and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

• BLS Certification (AHA-approved)

• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehab settings preferred

• Strong clinical reasoning and patient engagement skills

Preferred Skills

• Adaptive equipment training and recommendations

• Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and cognitive rehab

• Proficiency in functional mobility and discharge planning

• Familiarity with SNF documentation standards and EMR systems
