This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join a new and growing program, providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Help Build a New Pediatric Pulmonology Program
As a Pediatric Pulmonologist, you will play a vital role in the development and growth of a new program, providing comprehensive care to children with respiratory conditions. You will engage in teaching and mentorship opportunities with residents, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the advancement of pediatric pulmonology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with respiratory conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of respiratory disorders, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing.
- Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and patient-centered care.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and program development.
- Explore opportunities in sleep medicine, if desired.
- Provide valuable consultations to other hospital departments.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship.
- Unrestricted PA Medical License.
- PA DEA License.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in diagnosing and managing pediatric respiratory conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and mentorship.
