Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our partner, a leading medical center in Portland, OR. As a Physical Therapist in our Float Pool, you will be a vital member of the rehabilitation team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Your role will involve floating between clinics, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. You will be responsible for assessing patients and developing personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and overall quality of life. This position requires adaptability, a broad skill set, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of physical therapy practice.
Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans.
Treatment & Intervention: Provide hands-on therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises, with a strong emphasis on flexibility to meet the needs of different departments.
Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a variety of interdisciplinary teams across multiple clinic locations.
Professional Standards: Adhere to all Standards of Physical Therapy Practice, maintaining professionalism and integrity in every setting.
Education:
A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
Licenses and Certifications:
An Oregon Physical Therapist License is required upon hire.
A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
You must hold a Physical Therapist License in the state of hire and in all states where care is delivered.
