Physical Therapist – Orthopedic (PT)

Full-Time, Day Shift (5x8s or 4x10s) | Wilsonville, OR

Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a passionate and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join a dynamic and growing healthcare provider in beautiful Wilsonville, Oregon! Help Patients Regain Mobility and Function

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions. This includes evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients on their condition and recovery process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including goniometry, manual muscle testing, and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education.
• Provide specialized care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, fractures, sprains, and other musculoskeletal injuries.
• Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise program.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in continuing education activities to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or D.P.T. from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current and valid Oregon Physical Therapist License.
  • BLS – American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Completion of a residency or fellowship in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Certification in a specialized area of orthopedic physical therapy (e.g., OCS).

Schedule:

• The schedule can be 5x8s or 4x10s.
• The current schedule is Tuesday-Friday, 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. Day Shift.
