Physical Therapist

Full-Time | Sanford, NC

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join a dynamic team at a hospital in Sanford, NC. This position offers a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient care, allowing you to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to their rehabilitation journey.

Make a Difference in Rehabilitation

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain function, improve mobility, and achieve their highest level of independence. You will conduct thorough evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for making a positive impact on patients’ lives.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and needs. Analyze patient data to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Treatment Planning and Implementation: Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise programs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient-related information.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Operational Activities: Participate in departmental activities, such as budget planning, quality improvement initiatives, and staff education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.

Schedule:

• This position will be 60% inpatient/acute care in the hospital in the mornings and afternoons in the outpatient clinic.
