Physical Therapist

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist for our client, a regional healthcare organization providing the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). This role offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance the mobility, strength, and independence of a frail and elderly population through individualized therapy plans.

Enhance Senior Mobility and Independence in a PACE Program

As a Physical Therapist, you will develop and implement personalized therapy plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and educate patients and caregivers to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop personalized physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on proper therapy techniques and assistive devices.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapy services.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of treatment progress and patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy plus five (5) years of experience in the field.
• Valid California Physical Therapy License or proof of eligibility for licensure.
• If the physical therapy degree was earned outside the U.S., it must be evaluated to meet U.S. equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting working with a frail or elderly population.
• Current CPR certification.
