Position Summary
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our partner in a skilled nursing facility located in Pittsfield, MA. This full-time, weekday role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment committed to improving mobility, independence, and overall quality of life for residents requiring rehabilitative services.

The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise in geriatrics, a collaborative mindset, and a strong desire to positively impact patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with varying mobility and rehabilitation needs

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety precautions

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to provide integrated and effective care

• Maintain compliance with documentation, safety, and facility protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts

• BLS certification required

• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric physical therapy preferred

• Strong interpersonal and clinical documentation skills

• A passion for helping seniors achieve functional goals and maintain independence
