This hospital provides vital primary and specialty care to the community, including 24/7 emergency medicine, birthing suites, general surgery, radiology, and diagnostic imaging. We offer flexible scheduling options and a $15,000 hiring bonus for qualified external candidates.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will manage and provide skilled physical therapy services to patients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities. This role requires expertise in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and professional consultation, with a focus on maximizing patient independence and functional recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement skilled physical therapy interventions, considering patient-specific physical and age-related needs.
• Provide patient education and counseling on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling needs to meet patient and hospital requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Oregon Physical Therapist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
• Successful completion of a Client (Client) background check upon hire, in compliance with company policy and state regulations.
• Specialized physical therapy training or experience may be required based on departmental needs.
