Physician Assistant – Primary Care

Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks dedicated and experienced Physician Assistants to join our partner Medical Group in Penn Yan, NY. This is a full-time opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services, fostering long-term relationships with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and committed Physician Assistants who prioritize building lasting connections with their patients. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, delivering high-quality primary care services to individuals and families of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle counseling.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
• Provide preventive care services, including immunizations and health screenings.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to all documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• PA Certification
• Active and unrestricted NYS License
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and building long-term relationships
