Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level I Trauma Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, PA to find a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their esteemed team.

About the Opportunity:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to make a significant impact on the well-being of children in a world-class healthcare setting. You will join a collaborative team of four physicians, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with hormonal disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth hormone deficiencies, and puberty issues.
• Manage complex medical cases and collaborate effectively with other pediatric specialists.
• Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, ensuring a positive experience for children and their families.
• Participate in research activities that contribute to the advancement of pediatric endocrinology.
• Contribute to educational initiatives for residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Advocate for improved access to quality care for children with endocrine disorders.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric endocrinology.
• Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of pediatric endocrine disorders.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
• Demonstrated interest in research and/or education.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
