Primary Care Physician – Outpatient Practice

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated Primary Care Physicians to join our esteemed partner hospital in Arizona. This full-time opportunity focuses on delivering exceptional outpatient care to adult and geriatric patients within a supportive, team-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment to adult and geriatric patients.
• Conduct thorough medical histories, and physical examinations, and order appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote health education and empower patients to make informed decisions about their well-being.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with patients, fostering trust and open communication.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO Degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (new graduates are welcome to apply).
• Active and unrestricted AZ medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Outpatient practice experience is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office products and Electronic Health Records systems.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of patients and the practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing compassion and empathy in patient interactions.
• Epic experience is a plus but not required.
