About the Opportunity:

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a thriving regional medical clinic in Modesto, CA to find a qualified Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced physician to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Provide preventative care services, including immunizations and health screenings.
• Educate and counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
• May participate in some administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of a residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Board certification in Geriatrics is preferred.
• Active California Physician License without Restrictions.
• State Controlled Substances Certification (CDS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration.
• Valid State Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
• A copy of recent Vehicle Insurance is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a primary care setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Patient-centered approach with a focus on preventive healthcare.
• Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
