Experienced Radiation Therapist

Level I Trauma Center | Full-Time, Day Shift | Houston, TX

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapist on behalf of our partner, a premier Level I Trauma Center in Houston, TX. This is an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing the highest quality care to patients within a 1,152 staffed bed hospital.

Deliver Expert Radiation Therapy Treatments

As a Radiation Therapist, you will administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist, operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, and monitor patients’ responses to treatment. You will adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
• Monitor and assess patients’ responses to treatment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting.
• Certification: Certified Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technologists (ARRT-T).
• Licensure: Must be licensed by the Texas Department of Health (TMB).
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
