Provide Essential Diagnostic Imaging Services

As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities. You will prepare patients for procedures, operate radiographic equipment, and ensure the delivery of high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate radiographic equipment, adjusting settings and techniques to obtain high-quality images.
• Process and evaluate images to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License OR Oregon Radiographer Temporary License.
  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Upon hire: BLS – American Heart Association certification.
• For new graduates: Must have OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
