Registered Nurse – Acute Care Unit

Level II Trauma Center | Full-Time (36 Hours/Week), Variable 12-Hour Shifts | Richland, WA | Up to $18,000 Hiring Bonus

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our partner, a leading healthcare provider in Richland, WA. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dynamic Acute Care Unit within a renowned Level II Trauma Center.

Provide High-Quality Care in a Fast-Paced Acute Care Setting

As an Acute Care RN, you will provide direct patient care, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients in a Level II Trauma Center environment known for advanced cardiac and stroke care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and document their progress.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Shifts Available:

• 36 hours per week, Variable Shift, 12-hour work schedule.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Certification in area of specialty, unless otherwise indicated, upon hire.

Hiring Bonus:

• Up to $18,000 for eligible external candidates with at least 12 months of hospital acute care experience.
• Up to $12,000 for eligible external candidates with less than 12 months of experience who meet all conditions for payment.
