Provide Expert Care in a Dynamic Med-Surgical Unit
As an Acute Med-Surgical RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. You will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Shift:
- Multiple shifts available, including day, night, and weekend shifts.

Schedule:
- Full-time (36 hours/week).
- Part-time opportunities may also be available.
Hiring Bonus:
- $15,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the acute medical-surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy, wound care, and other procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, case managers, etc.) to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in condition, recognizing and escalating critical situations.
- Educate patients and families about their care, treatment options, disease management, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, ensuring clear communication among the healthcare team.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols, promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, addressing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
- Prioritize patient safety and advocate for their well-being.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Upon Hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
- Upon Hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
- Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association.
- One (1) year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Upon hire: National Certification in the area of specialty (e.g., Medical-Surgical Nursing).
