Director Cath Lab (RN)

Full-Time, Variable Shift | Las Vegas, NV

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading medical center in Las Vegas, NV, to find an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Director of their Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab). This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the Cath Lab, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Lead the Way in Cardiac Catheterization

As Director of the Cath Lab, you will lead a high-performing team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. You will drive excellence through evidence-based practices, quality improvement initiatives, and a culture of accountability. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Cath Lab nursing team.
  • Quality Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and empower your team through ongoing education, training, and performance feedback.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective unit operations, managing staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • 24/7 Accountability: Assume responsibility for the overall operations of the Cath Lab, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
    • BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience required.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of progressive management experience required.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Current RN license in Nevada.
  • Skills:
    • Computer proficiency.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven leadership ability and hospital operational skills.

Schedule:

  • Full Time: 40 hours per week.
  • Shift: Varied (Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, as needed)
