What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and delivery, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor fetal well-being, assist with deliveries, and provide immediate postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate and support families throughout the childbirth experience.
- Utilize your skills and expertise to contribute to a positive and memorable birth experience for each patient.
What You'll Need:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Alaska Registered Nurse License or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
