Your Role as an L&D RN:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and delivery, monitoring fetal well-being, assisting with deliveries, and providing immediate postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate and support families throughout the childbirth experience.
- Utilize your skills and expertise to contribute to a positive and memorable birth experience for each patient.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Alaska Registered Nurse License or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
Additional Information:
- 25 acute care beds, including four birthing suites and two intensive care beds.
- 22 long-term care beds.
- Multiple shifts available.
