Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the Employee Health Clinic at a leading healthcare facility in Austin, TX. Champion Employee Health and Safety
As the Employee Health Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting a healthy and safe work environment. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Employee Health Clinic, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing a range of services to support employee health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Health Services:
- Conduct employee health screenings, including pre-employment examinations, immunizations, and health assessments.
- Manage employee health records and maintain accurate and confidential medical information.
- Provide care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Manage disability cases, including return-to-work programs.
- Conduct health and safety training programs for employees.
- Investigate and respond to workplace hazards and safety concerns.
- Program Management:
- Develop and implement employee health programs.
- Monitor key performance indicators and track program effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and ADA.
- Leadership and Management:
- Supervise and mentor clinic staff.
- Manage clinic operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote employee health and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state required.
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN) or equivalent is encouraged as employee becomes eligible to test following 2 years of active experience.
- 2 years of experience in acute care or equivalent setting required.
- 1 years of experience managing clinic operations within occupational health or a similar setting.
- 3 years of experience in the area of clinical expertise.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
