Registered Nurse Manager – Emergency Services
Salem, VA | Full-Time | Evening Shift (11a–7p)
Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates

We're looking for an experienced RN leader to step into a vital Emergency Services Manager role at a top-tier acute care facility in Salem, VA. Position Highlights:

As the RN Manager for Emergency Services, you'll partner closely with staff and leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care. You'll take the lead in supporting department operations, mentoring clinical teams, and coordinating care delivery during the evening shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily unit operations in collaboration with the Director

• Plan staffing and resources based on volume and acuity

• Support recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations

• Ensure staff licensure, competencies, and education are up-to-date

• Guide orientation for new hires, students, and volunteers

• Maintain open communication across departments for coordinated patient care

• Contribute to ongoing development of unit policies and standards

Requirements:

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred or currently enrolled

• Active Virginia RN License or compact RN license with VA eligibility

• BLS – AHA (required)

• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC – must be obtained within one year of hire

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in Emergency Services
