Provide Expert Neuro Nursing Care in a Leading Trauma Center
As a Neuro RN, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, and post-neurosurgical care. You will play a critical role in monitoring neurological status, implementing timely interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Continuously monitor neurological status and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Implement timely interventions based on patient assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, patient safety standards, and evidence-based neuro care practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS Certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification – must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of Neuro Nursing experience in an acute care or trauma setting.
