Registered Nurse – Neurology
Level II Trauma Center (Adult & Pediatric) | Full-Time, Multiple Shifts | Spokane, WA
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our partner, a major healthcare provider in Spokane, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a 640-bed hospital, a designated Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, providing specialized care to patients with neurological conditions.
Provide Specialized Care in a Dynamic Neurology Department
As a Neurology RN, you will provide direct patient care, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with a variety of neurological conditions in a Level II Trauma Center setting with a wide range of services.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' neurological health conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' neurological status and document their progress.
- Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Schedule:
- Full-time, multiple shifts available.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience (new to specialty welcome).
