Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading medical center in Richland, WA, to find skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for their Surgical Unit. We are seeking RNs of all experience levels, including new graduates, to join a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care in a Level II Trauma Center.
Provide Expert Surgical Nursing Care in a Dynamic Environment
As a Surgical Unit RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and patient education. You will collaborate with surgeons and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Critical Thinking: Utilize your skills and knowledge to assess patient needs, identify potential complications, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the needs of your patients, ensuring they receive compassionate and high-quality care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Experience:
- RN Resident: Graduation from an accredited nursing program and newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.
- Acute Care RN: At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Preferred:
- National Certification in a relevant surgical specialty.
Available Positions:
- 36 hours per week: 12-hour variable shifts (Full-Time)
- 24 hours per week: 12-hour variable shifts (Part-Time)
