Provide Expert Respiratory Care in a Dynamic Hospital Setting

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will utilize your skills to assist patients of all ages, working as an integral member of the healthcare team.

Position Summary:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) utilizes intellectual, interpersonal, and technical skills to assist patients of all ages in achieving optimal health. The RCP functions as an integral member of the healthcare team, working independently, interdependently, and dependently within the healthcare system.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a respiratory therapy program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• Upon Hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Upon Hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association.
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS – American Heart Association.
• Two (2) years of full-time hospital-based acute care Respiratory Care Practitioner experience, including experience in Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Child Birth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU. Current RCPs with appropriate certification and experience meet the requirements for this role.
